Nashville is a city representative of the Tennessee region. The city was named after Francis Nash, a U.S. general during the American Revolutionary War. Nashville was captured by Confederate forces in 1862 during the American Civil War. Nashville is home to an arena for ice hockey (NHL Nashville Predators) and football (NFL Tennessee Titans). |
