| [Finland] Day 2 of our family trip to Finland |
The second day of our trip to Finland was a trip from Helsinki to Turku.
We had breakfast at a Helsinki hotel, and we had to check our room number before eating.
However, the staff member who checked our number didn＇t seem to understand us, so we ended up just quickly checking it, and I＇m not sure if they checked it correctly, but we had a delicious breakfast and headed to Helsinki Central Station on a tram while feeling the cold morning breeze of Helsinki.
Our family was planning to visit the Finnish Cathedral today and then head to Turku.
While riding the tram, an Asian couple spoke Korean, so they greeted us warmly, asking if we were from Korea.
Our family greeted us, saying we were from Korea, and we arrived at the Helsinki Cathedral.
There were many tourists taking pictures around the Helsinki Cathedral.
After taking pictures, we walked to Helsinki Central Station to go to Turku, taking pictures of the pretty buildings.
The train from Helsinki to Turku was a double-decker train.
Our family reserved seats on the second floor of the train.
The train from Helsinki to Turku was very comfortable, and the bathroom was also very clean and nice.
After arriving in Turku, we walked for about 10 minutes to the Turku Scandic Hotel and tried to check in, but since the cleaning wasn＇t finished yet, we waited and waited, and then we saw a foreign family waiting to check in like us.
There was a huge dog next to the foreign family, and to our family, it was a scary dog, but to the foreign family, it looked like a cute puppy.
After checking in to our hotel room, we left the hotel and headed to Turku Castle, a tourist attraction in Turku. To get to Turku Castle, we had to take Bus No. 1 from Turku Market and go for about 10 minutes.
After purchasing a 1-day transportation card at the Turku Tourist Information Center, we waited for Bus No. 1 and took Bus No. 1 to Turku Castle.
It is free to see the outside of Turku Castle, but there is an entrance fee to see the inside of Turku Castle, so we paid the family entrance fee and started to slowly see Turku Castle.
Turku Castle is bigger than it looks and the inside of the castle is complicated, but there are many guides for tourists, so we were able to see Turku Castle thoroughly.
Turku Castle was better preserved than I thought.
After seeing Turku Castle, we went outside and saw many people doing health aerobics. When my sons suddenly started following them, the aerobics people looked at them and they were embarrassed and hid behind their father, and the aerobics people laughed.
After leaving Turku Castle behind, we took bus number 1 again and went to Turku Market and headed to Koti Pizza Restaurant for dinner.
However, the Coti Pizza restaurant was full of customers and there was no place to sit, so I had to find a restaurant, and I suddenly remembered a pizza place on the way to the Turku market, so I went to that pizza place and luckily there was a table so I looked at the menu comfortably. My sons ordered pepperoni pizza and I ordered chicken salad and ate it deliciously, and then I went to eat ice cream for dessert.
I went to K-Supermart and picked out ice cream and hard bars, but the hard bars were torn, so I went to exchange them, but the clerk said they wouldn＇t exchange torn ones.
I explained it to them step by step, but they just said no, so I had no choice but to take the hard bars out and eat them. Fortunately, the hard bars were delicious.
If it were Korea, there would have been chaos, but here, they said it was the fault of the person who chose the wrong one, so I was dumbfounded.
