| [Finland] Day 4 of our family trip to Finland |
The fourth day of our trip to Finland was from Turku to Tampere.
We had breakfast early and headed to Turku train station. Maybe because it was morning, the cold air was refreshing.
As soon as we arrived in Turku, the kids were looking for a bathroom. You had to pay 1 euro to use the bathroom at the train station. While we were hesitating what to do, a young man who was trying to use the bathroom asked us to go in with him, so we were able to use the bathroom. We were so thankful for that young Finnish man. He was a kind Finnish man.
We got on the train to Tampere, but we got on the wrong train car and had to get on and off the train twice. This is because Finnish trains are double-decker trains.
After about 2 hours, we arrived at Tampere Station, so we got off with some people, but it wasn＇t the Tampere I knew. Still, I thought it was Tampere, so I looked around twice and saw a building I knew. We got off at the end of Tampere Station, but we couldn＇t see the Tampere Station. We dragged our carriers and headed to Tampere train station. Since there was construction going on, we arrived at Tampere station with difficulty, left our carriers in a locker, and headed to the Moomin Museum.
We looked for bus number 100 but couldn＇t find it, so we decided to just walk. The kids were having a hard time, so we grumbled and walked for 20 minutes until we arrived at the Moomin Museum where the Moomin statue is.
We bought tickets to the Moomin Museum and went inside, but they told us not to take pictures, so we looked around the Moomin Museum without taking pictures. It was so touching because there were not only Moomin paintings but also figures.
After looking around the Moomin Museum, I was surprised to see the word Moomin written in Korean on the pillars of the Moomin Museum.
After learning about Moomin at the Moomin Museum, we took bus number 100 in front of the Moomin Museum and headed to Angry Bird Land in Sharkaniemi Amusement Park.
After arriving at Angry Bird Land, it started to rain.
But fortunately, it didn＇t rain much, so the kids wore raincoats and had fun running around the playground in Angry Birdland.
After having fun, the kids said they were hungry, so we took bus number 100 again and got off near the hotel and walked, but the rain got even heavier.
After checking in at the hotel, I walked through the heavy rain and wind to find my travel carrier in the locker at Tampere Station. Then, I saw Tampere Cathedral, which can be called the landmark of Tampere City.
Even though it was raining a lot, I wanted to capture Tampere Cathedral in a photo, so I took a lot of pictures.
Then, I found my travel carrier in the locker at Tampere Train Station and safely arrived at the hotel after getting soaked in the Finnish rain for 20 minutes.
The kids were hungry, so we walked for about 10 minutes in the wind and rain of Tampere to the Hesburger store, ate a hamburger set, then went to our favorite K-Supermart, bought ice cream and a huge water bottle because we were going to Rovaniemi tomorrow, and walked back to the hotel.
If it hadn＇t rained, we would have seen the night view of Tampere and had a happy time, but unfortunately, it rained so much that we gave up everything and rested at the hotel.
