| [Finland] Day 5 of our family trip to Finland |
The fifth day of my trip to Finland was a train ride from Tampere to Rovaniemi.
After having breakfast in Tampere, I wanted to take a picture of the Tampere scenery for a while, so I took a picture of the Tampere scenery with my camera, even though it was raining, because I don＇t know when I＇ll be back in Tampere.
After resting at the Tampere hotel, I headed to the Tampere train station through the rain and wind again.
When I arrived at the Tampere train station, it suddenly stopped raining. It was such an uninteresting Tampere weather.
It was so much that it stopped raining when we said we were leaving.
The train that departed from the Tampere train station told me to take the train right next to Oulu.
That train was the train to Rovaniemi.
The train from Oulu to Rovaniemi was a single-deck train, so it was a little disappointing, but the train was so spacious that I was able to enjoy the train ride comfortably.
There is another Angry Bird playground in Rovaniemi, so it is a great travel destination for children.
It took about 20 minutes to walk from Rovaniemi train station to downtown Rovaniemi, but fortunately, the children were very happy. After unpacking at the hotel, we headed to the Angry Bird playground.
There were many Finnish children at the Angry Bird playground. Our children also had a happy time with the Finnish children who were having a good time playing on the playgrounds they wanted to enjoy.
I saw an outdoor performance area under the Angry Bird playground. They were performing a play called Robin Hood, so I went up close to watch, and suddenly someone who seemed to be a theater staff member said that we couldn＇t watch without a ticket, and while pointing to the ticket booth, he told us to buy a ticket and come in through the entrance.
The Robin Hood play was an outdoor stage where anyone could easily enter and exit. However, the entrance had a pole lying on two smaller poles, and when you brought your ticket, they opened and closed the pole. I felt that the Finnish people who trusted the Finns and performed the play were amazing. Unlike Korea, where they perform after a tight defense, I respect the Finnish people who don’t even show up for an outdoor performance without a ticket.
I looked for Koti Pizza in Rovaniemi and it was so easy to find. But the problem was the bathroom. The owner of Koti Pizza told me to go to the bathroom in the basement of the restaurant next door because there was a bathroom there. But the problem was that I had to use the bathroom in the restaurant and leave. However, we bravely used the bathroom and came out as if nothing had happened and ate delicious pizza at Koti Pizza. This time, I tried a new food called KOTZONE and it was so delicious. It was a very delicious food like a taco with vegetables and grilled chicken on pizza bread.
Rovaniemi has a monument commemorating the victory in the Russian War and a McDonald＇s hamburger restaurant, but Koti Pizza is the best in Finland.
