[Finland] Day 6 of our family trip to Finland
The sixth day of our trip to Finland was a trip to see Santa Park in Rovaniemi, go to Santa Village, and then meet Santa Claus and return to Rovaniemi.

We had to take bus number 8 to go to Santa Park and Santa Village, so we headed to the Rovaniemi train station rather than the nearest bus stop.

Bus number 8 departs from Rovaniemi train station. Contrary to my expectation that there would be many tourists in Rovaniemi, there were only three tourists.

Bus number 8 arrived, but it felt strange. The three tourists did not want to take bus number 8.

Looking at the bus stop sign, there was bus number 8 and Santa Express bus.

We waited for the Santa Express bus that was supposed to arrive at 10 o'clock. Fortunately, the Santa Express bus arrived at exactly 10 o'clock, and we took the bus and passed through downtown Rovaniemi to arrive at Santa Park.

We arrived at Santa Park, and a family of tourists from China got off with us, took pictures, and had a brief conversation before entering Santa Park. However, the family of tourists from China left after talking to the Santa Park staff, so it seemed like they clearly thought they had come to Santa Village.

We paid the entrance fee and entered Santa Park. Santa Park clearly has an expensive entrance fee, but we went in believing that we would receive benefits that were worth the entrance fee. It was like an underground workshop where Santa Claus works. There was an Ice Queen and a post office, so we applied to send postcards and letters to Santa Claus, but we found out after visiting Santa Village that it was more expensive in Santa Park than in Santa Village.

Please make sure to send postcards, gifts, and letters to Santa Claus in Santa Village.

Our family decided to attend the elf school, which is said to be the most fun in Santa Park, and stood in line with the Finnish people.

The elf teacher at Santa Park asked where we were from and what language we spoke, and when we said we were from Korea and spoke Korean, we said we didn't know Korean and asked if we could do it in English, so we said yes. The elf teacher was very kind.

I was so happy that not only children but also adults received diplomas and Santa hats when I finished the elf school. It felt like I was receiving a gift.

Finally, I decided to go see Santa Claus. There were people waiting for Santa Claus. My family had a brief conversation with Santa Claus and took a picture, but suddenly the elves asked me to buy a picture. What is this? They sell it here too. I found something interesting. I wasn't interested in printing the pictures on a large scale, but the key-shaped USB caught my interest.

The key-shaped USB was gold and had the name Santa Park engraved on it, so I thought it would be perfect as a souvenir. After buying it, I asked them to check if the picture was properly inserted, and after checking, I bought it.

We went to take the mini-train to visit Santa Claus's workshop. Santa Claus' workshop was cutely made. After finishing the tour of Santa Claus' workshop, the elf show was starting. While we were struggling to find a seat, the show started. I hurriedly made a seat for my family, and my children and wife were able to enjoy the show comfortably.

It was so much fun and a show. The elves who performed acrobatic performances naturally looked amazing.

Lastly, the pride of Santa Park is the Ice Queen's Ice Palace. You have to wear warm coats before entering the Ice Palace. Our family went into the Ice Palace and it was so, so cold. Everything was ice. After taking pictures with the Ice Queen, we went outside and it was so warm outside.

After finishing our tour of Santa Park, we waited for the Santa Express bus.

Finally, after about 10 minutes on the bus that was supposed to leave for Santa Village, we saw the Santa Village bus stop.

The first place we went to after getting off at the Santa Village bus stop was the Arctic Circle, which divides the North Pole region. After taking pictures of the Arctic Circle, we headed to the Santa Claus office where Santa Claus is.

Since Santa Village was off-season, there were almost no tourists. We safely arrived in front of Santa Claus, but Santa Claus was frowning. I thought it was because he was so tired, but when he asked if we could take pictures and explained the price, we said it was okay, but he didn't seem to like it. It was because our family already had a photo with Santa Claus.

Since there is a Siberian Husky dog park and a reindeer ranch in Santa Village, we headed to the Husky dog park to see the husky dogs first. After taking a photo in front of the Husky dog park, we headed back to the reindeer ranch. We wanted to ride a reindeer sled, but there was no reindeer sled anywhere. Instead, there was a reindeer ranch where you could touch the reindeer. We paid 5 euros per person to go into the reindeer ranch, and there were 4 reindeer.

We touched the reindeer and fed them, and the reindeer experience was really great. But the man guarding the reindeer ranch looked at us and said that it was too late to leave. Hahaha

However, we stubbornly followed the reindeer, touched them, and had a proper reindeer experience that day.

While waiting for the Santa Express bus at the reindeer ranch, we kept looking at the Rovaniemi Santa Village, which we might not be able to visit again anytime soon.

We came to downtown Rovaniemi and were planning to eat dinner at Koti Pizza, which is exactly what we had yesterday. But the employee at Koti Pizza asked if we could order pepperoni pizza and Koti Zone pizza, but he didn't remember what Tuna was, so he asked us to leave it out. When I looked at the pizza, I saw that there was no tuna. I just realized that Tuna was tuna.

Still, the kids enjoyed it so much. This is how our last dinner in Rovaniemi ended.
