| [Greece] Day 6 of the Greek Ruins Tour |
I took the trolley number 11 from Syntagma to the bus terminal for Cape Sounion. This is because I searched for bus routes that said that the bus to Cape Sounion could go by a different route than the coast.
You can find information about public transportation in Greece when you go to Greece, but it was very difficult to find information before the trip.
Another reason is that there is a statue of the goddess Athena in the park near the bus terminal for Cape Sounion.
The park with the goddess Athena was so beautiful and a great park to walk around. While I was looking around the park, my son said he was just going to wash his hands for a moment, so I told him to hurry up and come back, but he didn＇t come for over 10 minutes, so I was worried and started looking for him loudly in the park. Then I saw my son coming from far away, telling him to be quiet. I told my son that he was just going to wash his hands, but when I asked him why he was coming from that direction, he said that he had gone to the bathroom. To be honest, I was scared. My son had gone to the bathroom without any information about Athens, so I was worried. So I strongly urged my son to tell me clearly when he was going somewhere.
We took a bus from Athens to Cape Sounion, and the bus driver asked if we wanted to buy a return ticket. We said OK, and then he asked us to pay 12.5X2=25 euros for two people, so we paid.
When I traveled to Greece, it seemed that most people, except for young children, had to pay the adult fare and there was no discount on the round-trip fare.
We went to the Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion.
The bus to Cape Sounion is a bus that goes to the coast.
And since it is similar to a city bus, if there are passengers who want to get on the bus at the bus stop, they will pick them up. If there are passengers who want to get off the bus, they will drop them off at the bus stop.
We took the 1:30 bus to Cape Sounion, and when the bus was going to the bus stop, a tour bus was blocking the road, so the bus driver had a hard time.
But the tour bus that was blocking the road was a Greek tour bus from Korea.
While we were looking around the Temple of Poseidon, it was very windy because it was located on a coastal hill.
Why are there pigeons on the beach~~ And I saw a bird that I could only see in Greece, so I took a picture.
After looking around the Temple of Poseidon for about an hour, we waited for the bus again, and a tour bus with low-lying letters was coming. It was a Byzantine tour bus. Korean tourists got off the bus and went up to the Temple of Poseidon.
We got off at a bus stop near Tram Stop No. 7 to see the Athens beach and ride the tram, taking advantage of the bus＇s characteristics.
We took Tram No. 7 and got off at ΕΔΕΜ Tram Station to go to the Athens beach, where people were swimming.
We took Tram No. 6 from ΕΔΕΜ Tram Station again and came to Syntagma Tram Station.
Yesterday, for the delicious dinner promised with my son, I ordered Pork Gyros and Chicken Gyros at Iliada Cafe. While I was taking pictures of Iliada Cafe, the owner suddenly told me to take a lot of pictures of Iliada Cafe, so I did. Then, I told him that I would soon go back to Korea and upload the pictures of Iliada Cafe on Facebook, Instagram, and my blog, and he was so happy.
We were enjoying the Pork Gyros and Chicken Gyros, and he thanked me for visiting twice and asked me to promote the cafe, and he also gave me Mpougatsa, a dessert.
The Mpougatsa was so delicious.
My son liked it so much, so I felt good too.
After having a delicious dinner, I went to buy a keychain that my son wanted to buy.
After buying the keychain, I saw the jersey of basketball player Giannis Atetogunbo. I cautiously asked how much the Giannis jersey was. He suggested that I buy it for 25 euros. I said okay, but I thought that I should definitely buy it for 24 euros tomorrow.
After walking around Athens, we returned to the hotel.
