[Korea] Sokcho day trip
For our Sokcho trip, we had breakfast at the Sea Cruise Hotel.

Our day trip to Sokcho included a morning visit to the Sokcho Eye Ferris Wheel and Sokcho Beach, an afternoon visit to Cheoksan Footbath Park and the Sokcho City Museum, and an evening visit to Sokcho Central Market.

After breakfast, we headed to the Sokcho E-Mart to ride the Sokcho Eye Ferris Wheel.

We parked our car in the parking lot at the Sokcho E-Mart and started walking to the Sokcho Beach, where the Sokcho Eye Ferris Wheel was located.

It was a 20-30 minute walk from the Sokcho E-Mart to the beach.

Once we arrived at the beach, we saw the Sokcho Eye Ferris Wheel.

We bought a ticket and rode the Sokcho Eye Ferris Wheel.

The Sokcho Eye Ferris Wheel was a very comfortable ride.

The panoramic view of Sokcho from the Ferris wheel was amazing.

We got off the Sokcho Eye Ferris Wheel and headed to Sokcho Beach.

There were a lot of people at Sokcho Beach.

After dipping our feet in the water at Sokcho Beach, we walked to Sokcho E-Mart for lunch.

We tried to grab lunch at the Sokcho E-Mart food court, but construction was underway, so we couldn't.

Luckily, there was a 24-hour Jeonju Myeongga Kongnamul Gukbap restaurant next to Sokcho E-Mart.

We ate Kongnamul Gukbap at the 24-hour Jeonju Myeongga Kongnamul Gukbap restaurant.

After lunch, we bought snacks for our trip at Sokcho E-Mart and then headed to Cheoksan Footbath Park.

Admission to Cheoksan Footbath Park is free, but we needed cushions and towels, so we paid 1,000 won.

The Cheoksan Footbath Park was great because it had both hot and cold footbaths.

After soaking our feet at Cheoksan Footbath Park, we headed to the cool, air-conditioned Sokcho City Museum, as the weather was too hot.

The Sokcho City Museum houses the Displaced People's Cultural Village and the Balhae History Museum.

After spending the afternoon at the Sokcho City Museum, we headed back to the Sea Cruise Hotel.

The Sea Cruise Hotel has a terrace on the third floor, which is a great place to grab and go food.

For dinner, we bought some sulbbang, sweet fried chicken, tteokbokki, kkwabegi , and honeycomb ice cream from Sokcho Central Market. We enjoyed a delicious meal with drinks from the Sokcho E-Mart.
