The International Ski Federation, at its board meeting held in Reykjavik, decided to open the Alpine World Championships in the Norwegian city of Narvik.
The cities that applied to host the 2029 Alpine World Championships were Soldu in Andorra, Val Gardena in Italy, and Narvik in Norway.
