Intro	Cenchrea is mentioned in the Bible in Acts 18:18. Paul stayed for several more days, then said goodbye to his brothers and sailed for Syria. Priscilla and Aquila were with him. Paul had his head shaved at Cenchrea because he had made a vow earlier. Likewise, before going to Syria, he stayed at the port of Cenchrea, shaved his head, and then took a boat to Syria.
